Classic, Vintage Pond Yacht c.a. 1940 - 1950 Era, Lake of The Ozarks

$2,395.00

Now here's a very special pond yacht which originated from an owner who lives in the "Lakes of the Ozarks region of Missouri.

Lake of the Ozarks is a reservoir created by impounding the Osage River in the northern part of the Ozarks in central Missouri. Parts of three smaller tributaries to the Osage are included in the impoundment: the Niangua River, Grandglaize Creek, and Gravois Creek. The lake has a surface area of 54,000 acres

The previous owner contacted me for a restoration project on this particular boat. (After the restoration which took more than 30 hours). I loved it so much that I made him an offer. He accepted it!
This 1940's to 1950"s pond yacht has been in his family for many years. His father sailed it in the local lakes region where they still live today.

This very special piece of nautical history is 36"L x 7.5"W x 56"H (in its stand). A large size yacht which will impress all that see it.

During this extensive restoration, I used the original paint colors of parchment white, antique matted yellow, with a red watermark line. The hardware is all original, made of copper, brass and hardwood. The Dacron sails are original. The stand is original, but we did also restore it.
