Vintage, Handmade English Schooner, Edwardian Era, Museum Quality 1910 to 1914
This is an outstanding example of early Edwardian era English craftmanship. The detail and ornamentation are very rare as is the original Yacht.
This yacht was hand made in the mid 1920's by an English model ship builder. The schooner was first purchased by a gentleman in London, at a local antiquity's vendor. It was kept in his family for the last 100 years or so, then went to auction with a local London auctioneer. We were very fortunate to acquire it.
This double masted 7 sail schooner is in rare excellent condition. It is ordained with detailed decorative features which were all hand made. It's measurements are 38"H x 6"W x 32"L ( In it's original stand ).
The hull and keel are constructed plank on frame (an indication of its uniqueness and rarity).
It's material composition is hardwood maple with mahogany wood accents.
This is a very "RARE" piece of antique nautical history that would be a great gift for that special person who loves the nautical era and is always difficult to buy for.
