1950's Vintage Pond boat, Sailboat Restored, San Francisco Yacht Club

$2,495.00

From the San Francisco Yacht Club (established in 1869) comes this fully restored, vintage "free sailing" sailboat recently acquired by us. The original owner stated that the original boat was a display piece back in the 1950's to 1960's era. The hull and lead weighted keel are original as are some of the hardware. It was passed down to him by his father. They recently liquidated his estate.

We updated this great investment piece with new Dacron sails made by Carr sails of Redmond, WA. (Carrsails.com).

We added new handmade brass and copper hardware, which was made by Appreciating Antiques of Pablo, CA. (Appreciatingantiques.com)

This 4-month restoration project produced an exquisite vintage piece that will appreciate in the coming years. The original hull is plank on frame. We updated the mahogany stained and painted hull to its original red/mahogany colors. The keel is navy blue with a leaded bolus: all original.

The yachts measurements are 48"H x 34"L x 5" W ( in it's stand).
We also added a new custom boat stand and felted the bottom with high grade felting.

Thank you
