Vintage Sailboat, Restored. Original, Handmade, Antique, Made in Italy

"La Vita e' Bella in Genua". (Named "Sofia")
This is a wonderful handmade vintage yacht made, in Genua Italy by a local model builder. He is also a collector who displays his models throughout Italy, in hotels and other places of interest.

This fine, museum quality model yacht has a great history and overall presence. It is of "plank on frame construction" and hand painted a navy blue (original paint) with a black painted hull.

This moderate sized, 21"L x 24"H x 3"W ( in it's stand) model would look great in any room and would absolutely become a conversation piece for guests and friends.
When we received it in the shop we cleaned all brass, copper and bronze accents, leaving the original sails and most of the original rigging.

This yacht comes with a custom-built stand and a newly felted bottom, done in our shop.
