From a collector of fine model yachts comes this C.A. 1960's Sloop Schooner. This large, beautiful model has all original parts, and in our appraisal, we are grading it an "A" (see below) because of it's originality, overall fine condition and it's origin, London, England.
This fine antique will appreciate in value throughout the coming years.
This yacht measures 38"L x 42"H x 6" L. ( In it's stand). It is handmade and of plank on frame construction.
It has the original brass and copper accents. When we received it in our shop, we cleaned the sails and added some original rigging that was missing. The black hull with accenting dark maple finish compliments its originality and appeal. A great show piece in any decor.
The collector of this piece said that he purchased it in southern England over 30 years ago from a vintage antique shop.
