1970's Era Vintage Racing Schooner, Large, Restored Sailboat

$549.00

A very unique and rare vintage racing schooner which we recently acquired from a collector in Quebec. Canada. This gentleman has been collecting since the 1950's and originally purchased this yacht back in the late 70" from an antique dealer in Montreal. In the past I have had the pleasure of purchasing 3 other yachts from him. They all sold very quickly.

When we received it in the shop, most of the original hardware was either tarnished or not functioning so we replaced most of the bronze / copper hardware. We also added new (red) rigging which really compliments it's overall appearance. The sails are all original, but we did clean them up and they really turned out nicely. This yacht measures 39"L x 42"H x 6"W. A large, very attractive vessel which will surely become a conversation piece as displayed.

I really like the high gloss black hull and stained light mahogany deck and keel. We also added a decorative winch and rigged it as we believe it was back to its original condition.

We added a new custom-built stand which we built in the shop and covered the bottom with a high-grade felting. It complements the yacht nicely.

As with all of our custom, vintage models, we ship partially disassembled for safe shipping. We include simple instructions, and I will e mail you some pictures to assist in connecting the rigging.
