A wonderful and unique English pond yacht from the late 19th century, with hollow hull.
Originating in England during the Victorian era, this elegant pond yacht was created for pond racing.
The previous owner, who now lives in Virginia, acquired this yacht while visiting London in the 1960's. It was purchased at a vintage antique shop.
Featuring three sails attached to a central mast, it is supported by a light mahogany and painted hull with lovely details. It is resting on a finished stand with felted bottom.
The hull and full keel are finished mahogany hardwood. The brass vintage hardware ornate this yacht from bow to stern. The steering mechanism is original. We made some minor adjustments to the steering tension and adjusted the rigging. The yacht is 100% original.
What a wonderful gift for the man or women in your life who loves the nautical theme and the ocean and is difficult to buy for. A relic to be cherished for many years to come and appreciate in value in the coming years. A very nice investment piece.
As with all of our yachts, we will partially disassemble for safe shipping. Just connect the main mast and some rigging and your all set to enjoy! We will include directions for minor assembly and pictures to assist you.
