Vintage, fully restored model English Pond Yacht. This fine piece of history has a solid wood hull with steel keel and is considered one of the best examples of late 1900"s model ship building. Yes, you can sail this vintage yacht in a pond or lake.
This class "B" grade modified yacht is built from scratch but supplemented by the use of some commercially fabricated accessories. We decided to keep the original sails because it adds to its uniqueness and overall value. I like the fluted red sail on the aft deck...very original.
We replaced some riggings and fixtures. We also refinished and glazed the hull and keel. The white and cherry red hull and keel are the original color combinations. The yacht stand is original, and we felted the bottom with a high-grade felting.
This great example of nautical history would make a nice addition to any room in your home and would also make a great gift for that man or women that is difficult to buy for.
This yacht measures 28"L x 6"W x 30"H (In its stand)
As with all of our models some minor assembly required for safe shipping. Instructions included. Just attach main sail and some rigging and enjoy!
